What is the best speedball gun and woodsball?

  It is as accurate. Markers have no inherent accuracy or range, that only depends on the barrel and, more importantly, the paintballs themselves. Maybe your Flatline was better than whatever barrel your buddy has, and/or maybe you were shooting different paint. Pretty much any paintball gun can be used in woodsball. There aren't any characteristics separating the two aside from looks. But for the money, i'd suggest one of GOG's markers instead. The Enmey or Extcy, to be specific. The Enmey is a mech, so no batteries, but it will shoot faster than your A-5 (unless your A-5 has an e-grip). The Extcy is electro, which requires a 9v like the Fenix, but it operates better than the Fenix. Side note - while you can use co2 with all these markers, i suggest using compressed air (HPA), if you are able.
