How long will it take to get a passport and how much?

  • I'm going to the Bahamas on March 12, so is that too late to get a regular passport or should I get the rushed one. Plus how much is each of them gonna cost?

    It took about 6 weeks for my passport to gegt to me. However, this was in May of 2001... it cost me $84usd. It may have changed since 9/11, not sure. Check out the official website for the Department of the State's Passport division: http://travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738.html
