How do I clear off all my attachments, and not have them kept there?

Please help on how to delete my photos and my attachments on shortcuts as keeps all of these on Yahoo Mail?

  • On the left side where your folders - inbox etc are is a shortcut option and all the pictures and attachments are kept in here and afraid may take up a lot of computer space

Hello Beverley, I have the same problem as yours and the answer from Edward is completely right: cannot be done. However, there is a solution though a very time consuming one, that is replacing the fat mails by small NEW ones only containing the message text. So, you compose a new mail, paste or write the text part into it, plus the information about the sender, the date/time and the names of the pictures, and send that mail to your Yahoo-address. If the new mail has arrived in the Yahoo-Inbox and it suits you, you may delete the original fat mail. The problem that remains is the original date: mail in Yahoo is usually sorted by date, so this new mail comes on top of the list. That's why you should write the original date into the new mail, otherwise that will be lost. Write it, together with the name of the sender, in the Subject-box of the new mail. I have done it this way, and so I can keep a complete overview of all mail I received. But it's an aweful lot of work..... By the way: that "Shortcut option" (My Photos) is not a real folder; you are just viewing the pics inside the mails by means of those "shortcuts". Succes, Herman
