Job postings say BSN but when you actually start working all a BSN seems to do is get you 50 cents more for double the education I say its not worth it. I am from pittsburgh maybe because it is smaller than a lot of cities. It is pretty hard to get a job at the moment but it seems to me if 2 people have exact same skills, interview the same, same exp sure a Bachelors will probably get the job but that is an impossible scenario. Anyway I think the normal highschool chem and bio are enough. I got my nursing degree from community college and you don't really need any pre reqs beyond year or highschool chem and doing well on some placement tests. Probably any program is going to have you take, anatomy and phys 1 and 2, microbiology (may need bio1 or gen biology), social psyc which you may need intro to psyc for. Ultimately depends on the school though. Look at your community college and hospital websites see what they want. They will tell you what classes you will need and you can look up that class and see if there are any prereqs for that class.
