Depends on what the BASS are eating. Also depends on water clarity, speed at which you retrieve the lure, how much action is built into the lure, depth at which you fish the lure, etc. Too many variables to give an exact answer.

Generally you want to "match the hatch" - Since you said there's Bluegill in there, the bluegill colored lure should be a good choice. If there's also shad in there, you should try that too.

I would say it depends upon if there is shad in the lake. Also depends on the color of the water. I would take both. And start with what there is the most of in the lake. As far as forage.
