If you are in the US, you do not go to college to be a L & D nurse; you go to a university that has a general nursing program (BSRN), graduate as a general RN and eventually get hired in L & D; there are no nursing specialty programs; all RNs are trained the same as general floor RNs. You can easily find a list of nursing schools in your state on the state board of registered nursing web page; or google. Pick one you can afford, and probably apply to more than one.
