Is it possible for teeth to naturally re-enamel like new?

My teeth hurt like a MOTHER F****R--NEW BRACES!!!!?

  • i feel like ripping them out it hurts so much and its so damn annoying, what can i do , would Orajel work, what kind?

  • Answer:

you can use orajel to temporarily numb the pain. take ibuprofen or naproxen, to help with the pain and the inflammation. also make sure to eat soft foods or soups until you are used to it, eating hard foods can make the teeth even more sensitive with the tightening.

The best thing is advil and dont eat alot of food that would make you chew hard. The first few weeks are the worst, but ont worry, it does get alot better as you get used to having them. remember to use the wax as soon as your cheeks get slightly irritated, especially at night. Good Luck !

Each time your braces are tightened, you will feel this temporary pressure for a few days, then it will subside on its own, until they are tightened again. This is normal. One way to feel better about this pressure is to realize that it is the PRESSURE you FEEL that is correcting your teeth back to where they should be. I had braces, and the pressure I felt from tightening at the doctors office make me feel good because I knew the braces were now pushing my teeth to where they should be!..I actually came to enjoy the feeling! ...Soon my teeth were straight again! ..And the braces were gone!! Good luck! The is a perfect life long smile hiding behind the feelings of those braces!

oh god, i know your pain. just take from 1-3 ibuprofen and stay away from hot food. cold food may hurt, or it may help numb the pain. you could try orajel, but i dont know if it really works. best thing to do is get your mind on something else and try not to bite down.

Orajel will work for a little bit, take pain killers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen, and before you go to the orthodontist take a painkiller, like an hour before. It will kick in by the time the appts over.
