Why arent security/surveillance cameras in hd?
-
why are they always blurry
-
Answer:
I am just guessing, but I imagine it is because they usually network 8 or so cameras on one DVR so their is so much data coming in HD would be take up all the disk space too quick. Especially when you are talking about recording all day long, or even 24 hours in some cases. That is why when they have a robbery the pictures are so terrible. They could get better video with a $20 SD Tivo from the thrift store connected to a $5 thrift store purchased SD camera.
