How good are the Alpine Type E Subwoofers?

Would two 2 ohm or 4ohm 12" Alpine Type R subwoofers work with an Alpine MRP-M1000 amplifier? Help?

If you get 2 subwoofers then you want the 2 ohm woofers. wire them like this http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/subwoofer_wiring/2DVC_2-ohm_mono.jpg If you decide to only get one subwoofer, then get the dual 4 ohm. and wire both positives and both negatives to the positive and negative on the amp. your amp can only handle a load as low as 2 ohms. so these are your two best options.

Actually RPM he could wire them down to a 1 OHM load, but the only problem is that amp is not 1 OHM stable. Learn your wiring, 4 OHMs can go down to 1 OHM with 2 subs that are DVC @ 4 OHMs each, and 0.33 OHMs with 3 DVC subs @ 4 OHMs each.
