One thing that I know, you will have to pay out of state tuition. This can double - sometimes triple the cost of tution. Ask under education about these costs. With triple the cost - you may end up with loans you will not be able to pay back...

Are you able to apply before making the decision to move? I wouldn't necessarily move here to get into a nursing program. Like you said nursing programs in the states are competitive and just because you meet the standards set forth doesn't mean you will necessarily get in. It's gotten so competitive that students who just meet the standards are wait listed or rejected from nursing programs in favor of students who greatly exceed the standards. Also nurse anesthesia programs in the US are out of control competitive. There are only 20,000 CRNAs in the whole country. That number is expected to grow in the next few years but not by that much. I'm not saying you can't do it. I just think it would be better if you already new you were into a program before you made as serious of a decision as you are thinking of making. Good luck.
