Vocational nursing training?

  • Answer:

As an LPN I can tell you. Don't waste your time, I went to school when I had small children so I thought it would be best to get the LPN and then continue on part time while working. It has been 4 years no RN and doing the same job for way less money and limited job openings. Please do not waste your time and money with an LPN/LVN program unless that is a far as you want to go. I know several LPNs who are in the same spot, wishing they had just done the RN. Good Luck

A LVN or LPN can make $10 to $12 per hour while a RN can make twice that.
