How do I install my new car radio when the harness I have does not fit the radio?

    Yes you can cut and splice the wires but it's so much easier and better to just get an adapter plug that will fit your existing harness. As mentioned earlier you can pick them up at a Walmart or some similar type store or even do a web search.

if you dont have money right now to get a new harnes lol you can cut the harness on the cd player leave enough room to tape later, run your power to the fuse box and ground to the bolt that hold your seat in place.

go to an audio shop and get a harness to match your vehicle only about 15 bucks simple plug and play cmes with new colors and a manuel so you cant #@##@! it up oh *^%$ i just realized that you are considering cutting the existing harness "DO NOT DO THIS "under no circumstances
