How much discount (on laptops) does Dell give to its employees in India?

  • Can an employee buy more than one laptop in one instance using Dell's EPP (employee purchase program)?  Is the discount entitlement available even if friends of employees buy a laptop via EPP?

    Well, I am an ex-employee of Dell and this piece of information is from early 2012, not sure if it has changed since then. There are 3 brackets of discount in EPP at Dell India, < 40,000         - 4% 40,000-50,000 - 8% > 50,000        - 12% The revised discounts did seem horrible when they first came into picture, I would recommend you to try purchasing a refurbished laptop through an employee. Yes, employees can get EPP discount on purchasing a laptop for a friend. Number of EPP Purchases for an employee are limited per year and perhaps was 4 when I last heard of it.
