What does "board approval only" mean on state board listing of nursing schools?

    If you plan to pursue a BSN and in particular graduate level education (MSN, CRNP, DNP, PhD.), attending a program not approved (accredited) by the National League of Nursing could preclude admissions to better programs. There are so many programs select one that is approved by your state board and the NLN.

I think that means that the school you are looking at is Approved by the Board of Nursing only. Which is a good thing I guess because everyone has to go through the BON to get licensed anyways. Oh wait here is what it means; It means that that school meets the initial requirements of (your state) laws and regulations to offer a program of nursing education in (you state). Board Approval is what you want. You should chose any Nursing Program Approved by the (your state) State Board of Nursing. Good Luck
