How much will you make being a nurse?

How much do entry level nurse (RN) make?

  • How much do average RN make if you just graduate? How old do most nurse retire? Do most nurse get work-related injuries? Do nurse get any benefit after they retire?

  • Answer:

In US, the starting pay is about USD$25k, for more experienced and specialized ones can go to USD$50k or more. Most nurses love their jobs and retire at about 55 or 60 depending on their health and energy levels. Most common work related injury is Back pain and Deep Vein Thrombosis as they carry heavy stuff and stand or walk too much in the wards or clinics or operating theatre. Yes, they get some form of retirement benefits. Hope the info helps.
