Windows media player does shuffle the order of your music in the now playing list when you click on the shuffle button near the play button at the bottom. Have a look at this link... http://windows.about.com/od/mediaentertainment/ss/control_songs.htm The playlist will not look at though it has been shuffled as the order doesn't change but the playing song will jump between items on the list.
