How do i watch a movie on tv from my computer?

How can i watch a movie i have downloaded on my computer on my tv?

  most likely the s-video connection on your cable box is an OUTPUT, meaning you can't send an s-video signal INTO it. if your tv just has a normal cable jack on it, you may want to purchase an rf modulator. depending on the model of the rf modulator, it just might convert that s-video signal into a coax signal. you can then send it into your tv, having your tv on ch3. or you can just upgrade your tv to a newer one. most newer tvs now have monitor inputs on them (pc monitor input). that way your tv is also your computer's monitor. or you can burn the movies to discs, and watch them using a normal dvd player. that would only be handy if you wanted hard copies of your movies for future use.
