You can start studying now or you can wait for the summer. But I would suggest that whenever you have free time and all your school work is finished and out of the way (like on the weekends or when you have nothing better to do), study for chemistry. Because the sooner you start, the better prepared you will be for AP Chemistry. The course by itself will be challenging, but if you study and prepare yourself now, you will have a better chance at not going through the difficulty in the course.
