Cruise control won't work?

Why is truck vibrating, running rougher, cruise control wont work, service engine light flashing?

  • I ran out of gas, refilled with gas, truck started right up, but had a shaking vibration to it, seem to run rough, service engine light kept flashing, on highway wouldnt go on cruise ...show more

    A flashing engine light mean to NOT drive your vehicle, you may have sucked some debris from the your tank in to your fuel system. I would change out your fuel filter than go to your local shop to get the error codes on what is wrong.

see your mechanic,,a blinking red ck engine light means STOP ,,STOP means don't run engine,,,see your mechanic,,I realize you are smart,,educated,,responsible and all that..[ran out of gas?] but just hear me now,,,,see your mechanic 1,,check battery and its cables 2 got coolant and oil in it? 3 got tranny fluid? 4 OH got gas?? I **** you not..If you only put a gallon or less it will not have enough fuel pressure, 5 see your mechanic would help if you gave some info on vehicle,,,duh

Check for a vacuum leak. If your irresponsible enough to let it run out of gas (we all have done it) then your probably dont check under the hood often enough.
