Why wont my psp turn on havent used it for a year but i got a charger now?

Maybe the battery is dead. Try buying a new one. They go for really cheap on ebay and amazon. I understand you hav a charger, but if the battery doesnt allow itself to charge then it dont matter. So try this!!
