I wouldn't bother with a Phenom II X2 unless you plan on unlocking the other two cores. You can get a faster quad core out of the box for probably a few more quid. That's the only hangup I see, otherwise it meets the recommended requirements of, like... Battlefield 3. MW3's requirements are probably lower because it runs on more or less the same engine as MW2.
