its the quality of search engine result page. Yahoo doesn't have it now for so long. they are becoming left behind. Anyways they are still one of the biggest.

less search, less advertising income. Yahoo search is not for academic purposes, as a result, it didnt do quite well. yahoo also just failed to provide me with news searches tooo.....looks like its tumbling down.
