  • Answer:

Did you ever notice when you were in school many years ago, the number of idealistic, young teenage girls who wanted to pursue a degree in marine biology when they finally went to college? All those neat TV documentaries had a profound influence on their future dreams. Jacques Cousteau was their hero. And once in college, the realitries of life hit home very hard. I went to college in 1984 when computers were starting to get big. I worked with a woman who had a B.F.A. (bachelor of fine arts) and was friends with a guy I had known since childhood who had his baccalaureate in biology. Both of them had appl;ied to graduate school and were getting their master's degree in computer science. If I were you I would consider the same thing. Very few people are ever able to pursue their dreams to their logical end.
