What places can I go to near L.A for a romantic weekend with my husband for our 6 months anniversary??

    San Diego is the perfect distance for a weekend getaway and there are lots of romantic things to do there. Some of my favorites are: 1. Take a gondola ride. 2. Hike along the coast. 3. Kayak through the caves at La Jolla. 4. Watch the sunset while dining at George's Outdoor Bistro Terrace....overlooking La Jolla Cove in La Jolla. 5. Share a dessert at Exraordinary Desserts on 5th Avenue near Balboa Park. 6. Have a private picnic in Presidio Park. 7. Enjoy the panoramic view of Mt. Soledad in La Jolla. 8. Take the ferry ride to Coronado Island. 9. Roast marshmallows on the beach. 10. Go wine tasting. 11. Go dancing. There are so many things....I can't list them all. Romance is where you make it. Anything can be romantic, if done right. However, if you want to create a special moment with a view, then the hills or the beach are where you want to start. Mulholland Drive is beautiful, but might be a bit dicey if you are shooting for a romantic moment. There are lots of kids up there, parking, driving fast, etc. I would hate for one of them to ruin the moment. Griffith Observatory. Excellent views of LA, easy to get to.
