Which port is better in Catalina Island, CA, for Watching Super Moon?

There are 2 ports; Two Harbors and Avalon. Which port is closer to camp site/lodges/hotels which have the darkest night? I'm going to Catalina Island to watch Super Moon clearly ...show more

I'd suspect that Two Harbors, being the smaller settlement, would have less light interference.

Catalina Island is an island... it's June... there may be June Gloom... if there is June Gloom tomorrow evening you won't be able to see much of the moon from either port. - June Gloom is the marine layer. The further inland you are the less June Gloom there is. If you go out into the desert or over the grapevine, you won't have to deal with it.
