Can someone help me with my car audio system?

Im new at the whole car stereo 'system' thing. can someone help me out?

    it all depends on how technical you want to get. they have 5 channel amps, that you can hook up to your subs and your speakers, and then they have speakers that come with little amps for each speaker. you can upgrade speakers that are just replaceable for your factory speakers that will probably fit for what you're looking for. i am still using my factory speakers actually. as for subwoofers, they reproduce the actual bass, where as a tweeter does just the treble, or the sound. like the people singing. tweeters are small, but in order to be installed may need some customization, and you'll need to wire them into your speakers. subwoofers need boxes to be put in that range in types and sizes. the amplifier does just what it is named really. it amplifies the bass into the subwoofer. a sub wont work if you dont have an amp. depending on how much bass you want depends on how strong of an amplifier you'll need. the bigger the sub, the bigger the amp. if you go so big, you'll need to upgrade your alternator, and battery/batteries, and the wiring around the alternator.

you have to hook up you sub to the amp.. and the speakers if you want too... but you dont have to and you would have to buy another amp for that which means more $$. the amp gives the subs their power... tweeters are pretty much just mini speakers which put out the higher pitch sounds... hope that helps ya out
