The Big Bang Theory (TV series): When Amy Farrah Fowler tells sheldon that "By not overthinking, the less intelligent handle emotions better", does she mean those with less 'emotional intelligence'?
-
This is from Seson 5, Episode 6 - The Rhinitis Revelation. I just wanted to make sure that she meant "those with less emotional intelligence and not the other intelligence". Also, is there any scientific results to prove this?
-
Answer:
No she wasn't talking bout the 'emotional intelligence' she was talking bout dumb people with less IQ.

Amy was speaking about intelligence in general, as no specific indication to any other type can be gathered. You could replace "those less intelligent" with "those who don't think clearly/those who rarely think" and the same implication could be made. That's my opinion, at any rate, mere conjecture.
