What are the good ways to improve rankings for a particular set of keywords?

Hello Fellas, Using Google Analytics, I analysed my keywords. [LIST=1] [*]Which keywords have gone down [*]How are they performing and ranking [*]Which keywords have high bounce-rate. [/LIST] Anyone has idea, how to improve the rankings for the keywords for which the ranking and the impressions have gone down? I have analysed data for past 4 months. Thanks for answering.

Each keyword (or keyword phrase) should have an associated webpage that is optimized for that keyword. Make sure the Meta tag "title" includes the keyword. Also add the keyword phrase to the meta tag "description". Remember that the description needs to be engaging so that users want to go to your site. Ranking on Page One is just the first step. If your keyword has a high bounce rate, take a look at the page that includes the keyword. What is the purpose of the page? Education, download, fill out a form, etc? Then make sure the Call-to-Action is *very* clear to the user. Good luck!
