No. A Masters in Health Administration is pretty much an MBA with a focus in healthcare. There are doctors, nurses and other clinicians that become managers but a clinical degree is not required at all. In my MHA class there were about 30 students. Two were doctors, about 10 had an MPH, and the rest were into business or also had law degrees.
