Answer:
There is something else in the medical administration sort of field, but is not nursing itself is something called a unit nursing coordinator. These are like ward secretaries, and would make quite a bit of money. You might also want to consider something like a physical therapy aide or something like that too.

Cacuna, I got into Healthcare Information Technology many years ago. I quickly advanced to being one of the senior member of an Enterprise Server Team at the 2nd largest Hospital in the state of Florida. From there I went on to become IT Manager/Network Administrator for another Hospital here in South Carolina. My salary exceeded almost all but the most senior RN's at these hospitals. Understand that you will have to get ALOT of schooling in IT. Take your Microsoft tests for Certifications - THOSE are the most important. You can work toward a college degree in MIS (Management Information Systems) as you go. You'll find that there are really two paths (in general)... Networking ..and Network Administration. Networking has you concentrating on Routers, Switches & Firewalls - its a life unto itself. The other deals with the Servers, workstations etc and Microsoft Operating systems and Hardware. You could of course even slip into Programming? Thats another avenue but not everyone is cut out for programming (various languages). SO, there you have it. Information Technology. You can start by taking courses at your local Technical college. Start going to the bookstore and reading all you can.. There is ALOT to learn.. and GOOD money to make IF, IF you know what you're doing. By working in Healthcare IT you deeply involved with many aspects of patient care. In large enterprise environments you could be like what I was in Florida.. a member of a Server Team who's responsibilities were tremendous. Some of our systems were "Critical" meaning someone could easily die should the system go down or be unavailable. Xrays at many hospitals are now all PACS systems.. Digitial. If that is down the ER cannot get Xrays of a patient that could be dying.. The job is Tremendously Stressful in that context. Hard to believe a server being up or down could be the difference between someone living or dying.
