Almost every printer has the top lift up. When you do this it usually will move the print carriage (print head) to the center or to a place that you can get to the head. Usually you will need to lift a lock bar that locks the cartridges into the print head. Then take out the old cartridge & replace with a new one. usually they will kind of snap into place. Be sure which direction the cartridge is facing when you take it out. Then when you are done you may have to go into the print properties & reset the New Cartridge counter. That's about it!
