  • Answer:

The quality of your medical insurance depends on the health insurance company your employer uses. It has nothing to do with discrimination. In some health insurance plans, medications do fall under a different plan. I know I have a separate prescription card that is separate from my health insurance card. "Basicallly you can go see the doctor but not buy medications." You can still buy medications, you will just have to pay the full cost. I worked a job in healthcare, ironically, full time with no health insurance benefits, so it is all depends on the employer. Some employers do have the money and just don't care about providing benefits, while some smaller businesses do not have the money to pay health care benefits for part time employees.
