My friend graduated BSN in NJ , he has a hard time finding jobs in acute care nursing, he can only find nursing home jobs, some of his friends can not find any jobs, how and where ...show more

Many new grads are having difficulty finding jobs in hospitals, the current economy has many facilities on hiring freezes and some are even experiencing layoffs. They should take whatever job they can get for now just to get work experience as an RN, then once experienced, and once the economy settles out in another few months or a year then the jobs will start opening back up and more opportunities will be available so they can find something more in their area of interest. When you're a new grad and need a job, "beggars can't be choosers". You take what you can get, we all have to start somewhere.
