  Ive been an MT for 6 yrs in the Caribbean..did a course got a certificate as a member of an organization...it cost me 10,000TT dollars...doesnt may much in the caribbean though, but maybe if u get certified afterwards as a CMT it will pay more...but i am parttime to becuz of my child...the good thing is that u get to work from work at ur convenience...and still go to school and take on a second job....IN the course, u will require a sound knowlege of medical language/terminology, english, pharmacology,typing skills of course...check out AAMT on google...i work for them...they should pay more if ur working in the states or full time..hope this helps...
