Where can i get a work permit when im 14?

Im in home schooling and i want to get a work permit.. im 14 can i?

    I live in S.C., so it might be different, But I just had my mom write up a paper that stated that she was in charge of my education, and that I had her consent to work, blah blah blah. She just went and talked to by brothers boss and told him that he was home schooled and The manager said that he would not need the permit.

Hi! You will be able to pick up an application for a work permit from your "home school". That is, the high school you would be going to if you attended public school. Typically the front office or counseling office will have the forms. Remember that this is an "application". You will need to have the job before you can be issued a permit in the state of California. Good luck!

depends on what the rules for CA are. i got mine by just going to my school district office and presenting to info that said i was homeschooled and i actually was doing school. it was really easy, they sent it in the mail a few days later. =) good luck!
