Nadella - You really should consider hiring a sound system company to come in and design this system. It really is not as easy as just buying amps and speakers and hooking it all up. JBL and QSC both make professional speakers for an installation like yours. If you insist on doing this yourself, I can help you a bit via e-mail. I live in CT USA. First start selecting speakers. Chose those that have high efficiency, like >99 dB SPL at 1 watt 1 meter, and high power handling. The higher the SPL, the less amp power you'll need for the same acoustic level. Decide the SPL level you want at the listening area. Have in mind that every time you double the amp power you get 3 dB more and every time you double the distance from speakers to listening area you loose 6 dB. Example for 99dB SPL/1w/1m, with 128w and at 8 meters, you'll get 102 dB SPL (120 dB with 128w, less 18 dB at 8 meters). If you double the # of speakers you get 3 dB more. I think that buying speakers with integrated amps is the best thing to do. There they have matched the amp power to the max speaker power and provided frequency response equalization. Peavey does a good job for a good price and JBL does a better job for more money. To fill 5000 sq ft you may need more than two PA speaker systems. But that depends on the max level you want. If you use separate amps (not integrated), you need 3 dB headroom on them, so you don't drive them to clipping.

Depending on how much the speaker can handle the brands you mentioned are good speakers. As the first poster mentioned JBL, Polk tend to be more for personal use not commercial where you are trying to get it loud enough over the sound of people talking etc. Mackie speakers are great for large areas.
