What is the meaning of life? Why do we live? Or we live and that's why we try to make it meaningful? As human being what should be our ultimate goal?

The meaning of life is that there is no meaning. Life is not something that has a purpose but merely something that is. The real secret is to stop searching.

Our brains seek meaning, so to appease my brain I created my own meaning. I think life is about accepting death and helping others to rest. Life starts when we feel safe, are able to rest and do not fear death. The goal is to learn to let go and to share what you've learned while collecting what others have learned. Patience and compassion take time and practice, but are skills worth cultivating. We have a short period of time to affect the world. Whatever you choose to do with your time will change who you are. Choose to be someone you can live with.

Does a flower have a meaning to life? An ant? A lion? A rock? Probably not. They just are. Life is what you make of it.

But one who attains to My abode, O son of Kunti, never takes birth again.   So the meaning and purpose of life is to get out of this miserable place and return to our spiritual home with Krishna.

We all including nonliving and living have many inner as well outer covers, we try to uncover one by one , i.e. we question and get proper answer i.e. uncovering one by one but at last all the covers get uncovered nothing can be found furthermore. Means every cover is meaningful, but as a totallity every efforts are non meaningful.  and that is the life, means periphery of life has a limit, only limit makes meaning nothing else.
