Which are some of the best PHP books for intermediate PHP programmers?

I have some basic knowledge of PHP. I am familiar with topics like using the post superglobal to get the data from user, sql injection, form validation, using functions in php, graphics in php, sessions and cookies, HTTP authentication but I have never done object-oriented php, exception handling and other features in advanced PHP.

In my opinion, reading books is not the way to go around for intermediate programmers. If you know all the basic stuff, you should just go ahead and start taking up small projects. You will face difficulties in the initial stages but none that I am sure no one else has faced before, and none for which you cannot find answers online.
