Looking for a camcorder with hd and good for filming at night?

    The two models are rated at 4 and 7 LUX respectively , so neither of them are going to be that good in low light, (depending on how low you want to record in) the lower the number the better 0 lux total darkness, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lux Youtube is a total waste of time for checking out the quality of the video produced by the cameras. the are to many factors one main one being the amount of compression used to post the video's. high compression reduces quality. The only way to truly get an idea of the quality is to get your hand on the cameras you are looking at and do some test videos. in all light conditions. then play them back on a large TV screen. you will be in a better position to make a decision. No there's not much different between the 1080p or the 1080i when uploading it to YouTube. Just check the quality on youtube and check how well the image stabilizer is for both the model if they have image stabilizer. go with the panasonic hdc-tm90 it's better.
