Do I have any chance going to UCLA?

Can I get into UCLA with a 3.0? Will going to a community college increase my chance by far?

  if your GPA is 3.0 out of 4.0 I would say your chances are pretty slim, UCLA likes stats, unless you have spectacular SAT scores and an outstanding Personal Statement I would say it will be unlikely. I would suggest doing what you do currently, and boost your GPA to at least a 3.5 if you can. Depending on various factors like school and class rank, UCLA could be within reach. Unless you get straight As with a very rigorous course load your junior year. (I had a friend that got in because he changed his study habit junior year and course load) UCLA is still within reach, but I think you just need to bring up your grades and be able to put everything you've done in an outstanding personal statement Community Colleges don't necessarily increase your chances either, while it might give you a second chance to get into UCLA, I don't see how it will increase your chance. You'll get into a UC i beleive hope this helps
