Can I bring a tv onto a Los Angeles metro bus?

I want to pick up a cheap tv for my dorm room but don't have my car. Will they let me bring like an older style big box 32" tv set onto a metro bus in LA?

If you can fit it into the doors and onto a seat, yes. I wouldn't try that during rush hour. You might not be able to get off the bus with it. 32" CRT? I'm not sure it will fit through the doors. Even if it does, it could easily break the way these drivers drive. Seriously, I would wait and get a friend to help. That's one big@$$ TV to try to haul on a bus.
