How can I get smarter?

    I don't like the use of the word smart. Everyone has a certain level of intelligence. Instead if you want to become more knowledgeable about something read and do your own research on a topic of interest. Attend meetings/seminars, take classes if you can afford it, and always ask people plenty of questions. You should always try to increase your intelligence level about something. Also try to understand current events. For examples global/American problems, how the government and economy work etc. If you want to be a detective I would try to talk or set up a meeting with a local law enforcement employee and ask them what it takes and how to achieve your goals. Best of luck. And lastly don't watch Fox news, it never made anyone more intelligent lol.
