They are valid on all forms of transport in London - buses, Underground, London Overground, Docklands Light Railway, London Overground and National Rail. Oyster Cards are valid throughout the London Zones 1 to 9. With Travelcards, select the zones you require when you buy the card. All of central London is contained in Zones 1 and 2. If you want to travel out to somewhere in the suburbs like Hampton Court Palace you will need a Zone 1 to 6 travelcard www.tfl.gov.uk
