Art Blakey " A Night At Birdland" Vol's 1/2 on Blue Note 32146-2 & 32147-2 rec' 2/54. Max Roach "Alone Together" on Verve 526373-2 a 2CD set rec 9/56-10/60. Max Roach " We Insist! Freedom Now Suite" on Candid CCD 79002 rec8&9/60. Shelly Mann At The Blackhawk on Original Jazz Classics OJC 656-660 a 5 CD set rec 9/59. Buddy Rich " Swingin' New Big Band / Keep The Customer Satisfied on BGO BGOCD 169 rec 9/66-2/70. There are many more but i rank these as the best examples of jazz drumming.
