Becoming a Physicians Assistant?
-
I really want to be a PA but I'm sort of confused about becoming a physicians assistant. To become one, what courses do you take in college? How long do you have to go to college? ...show more

Answer:
I recommend looking at your area's PA programs to see what prerequisite classes you need. You'll need a bachelor's degree which takes around four years. Cost of PA school will vary but expect to be paying over 50k. PA school is challenging but not as difficult as med school. You'll need healthcare experience. For instance, my local PA school requires a minimum of 3,000 healthcare experience hours. You can read all about salary and demand on.... http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos081.htm
