Ways I can prepare to become a police officer at 13 ?

    I think the experience of actually being at a Police Office would help. Just call or walk in and ask if you could job shadow, volunteer, or intern for them. I wanted to be a Veterinarian, so I interned for a Vet Clinic. I actually learned a lot just by observing and asking questions.

Maybe you should talk to a school counselor and get some advice about what you should take. Just be a good cop..not a bad one!

Take wrestling , track , any writing classes even creative writing , ROTC , learn multiple languages start off with Latin because most are bassed from Latin

Congrats on your career choice. Many police departments have "explorer programs" where you can do this very thing. Go to your local police department or check their website and email an officer about this program. I work with several people who were explorers before they became officers. Also you may consider taking a few odd college classes during the summer. Even if you change your mind on a career later you will still have those hours to apply for something else. Stay away from these devry type schools that advertise security training on TV. Study your state constitution and state laws but most importantly the US Constitution as you will be taking an oath to protect and defend it. Best of luck.
