Who has converted their Jeep Liberty to WVO/SVO?

I want to buy a diesel 2006 Jeep Liberty and convert it to WVO for my next car. Anyone else done this? Any horror stories? Things to watch out for? I'm hoping to have a ...show more

Don't. Common Rail Diesel motors run at fuel pressures even higher than in TDI (Direct Injection) motors, and the WVO/SVO causes THEM problems. Don't fubar your CRD motor on WVO/SVO. Better to run commercially produced Biodiesel, which runs and burns just like diesel, but w/o any engine modifications.

You could get by only with 20% mix with diesel.Or make biodiesel for about $1.25 a gallon.if you want to run wvo,you need a pre 1989 mercedes diesel,they have no computer controls.

I have a 2005 jeep diesel liberty limited for sale. I have to get a minivan because my husband and I are going to adopt and need more room. I love my car. I get around 31 hwy. email me if you are interested . I don't know if you can convert it or not but I would do some research before you do anything.
