You can make this very simple. I am assuming your taking some early childhood education courses. Construction- Give the children blocks and ask them to build the tallest building that they can build without the blocks falling Creative- Give the children various art supplies ( markers, crayons , feathers, dried beans, cheerios, eyeballs, pipe cleaners, construction paper ect ) Tell them to make you their favorite animal on the construction paper . Then ask him what sounds they make and to act like the animal Imaginative- Have them play deep sea exploring. Ask for volunteers to be scuba divers, fish, sharks , wwhales ect Physical- races Your best bet is keeping things simple. Children aged 2-5 are at different learning levels. Activities that all can do and understand is the best! Social - show and tell

1.Construction - I would use a craft I like to call "My Home". Construction crafts are anything that kids can make or build with their hands. So in this craft you supply the children with any kind of materials that can be used for building a cute little home. They could make a squirrels den as a home or a house but either way they are learning about different types of homes and learning to use their hands. For 2 years you have to do most of the work but when they get to be five it can be a really fun craft because they make it all themselves (well mostly). 2.Creative - This craft is called "Once upon a time... Novels". The child makes up his or her own story and you staple it together in the form of a book (leaving room at the top of the page for the child to draw a picture). Then they go to work on drawing it. For 2 year old's you mostly make up the story and for 5 years they might even be able to write for themselves (but I wouldn't suggest it since they often ask you to read it later and it is quite hard). If you are working with your kid this creates a life long keepsake and if you are working at a nursey/ daycare be sure to send it home to the parents. 3.Social - For Social I would do a game called "The Kindness Button". This game is played over a number of days/weeks (depending on the number of kids). You will start off with the button and do a random act of kindness for one of your students (childern/child) and then you will give them the button the next day they have to do a act of kindness for another child. This continues on and the act of kindness all ways has to go to someone who has not had the button before. The kids really learn how to interact with each other well and some shy childern even make great friends this way. 4. Imaginative - For Imaginative I would do a game called "Self Portrait". Lol I am sure no one has eard of that before. But really it can be a great painting. Another one would be straw painting. You have a glop of paint and kid blows on it with a straw. Warning: this can get really messy. 5. Physical - Yay! I love these ones. Okay, tons and tons of circle singing games and tag! Always tag. I really like "I wrote a letter to my love" it seems to have the least number of kids that get hurt. The song goes "I wrote a letter to my love and on the way I lost it. A little doggie picked it up and put it in his pocket he won't bite me and he wouldn't bite you but he'll bite the one whose got it so all look behind you". Then the one who has the letter chases the doggie and trys to catch the doggie before it gets back to the empty seat.
