Is it harder for a brown guy to become a pilot?

Is it possible for Iranian guy like me to become a jet fighter pilot or aircraft pilot in Australia?

    Hey Ahmad! As long as you are an Australian citizen, you can be in the ADF (Australian Defence Force). As for being a fighter pilot, you have to be very good. Being Iranian shouldn't make a difference. All the requirements and the like are here: http://www.defencejobs.gov.au/airforce/jobs/Pilot/?entryTypeId=8 I wanted to be a fighter pilot, but found out that I wont meet the minimum height. ;) You need to pass your HSC of course, and the higher marks you have, the more chance you have of getting into the pilot course at ADFA (Australian Defence Force Academy). There are ways to get in if you didn't get your HSC, but it takes longer. Hope this helps :)

One of the above answers is good. I would have to add that in the ADF - you put in your preferences to be a pilot but the ADF is under no obligation to assist in you becoming one. If they decide you do not have the psychological makeup, you score less in the aptitude test than others - you could join the ADF and not have anything to do with planes.
