What is a good real for Musky fishing?

What's a good musky fishing bait?

  • I go out alot but can't seem to catch anything.

  • Answer:

I fish for (and catch) Muskies every year in Canada. Use the largest topwater buzzbaits you can get your hands on. Also. try very large (8+ inch) jerk baits. The color Firetiger works well. You could also try large live shiners or suckers, or large plastics with jigs. Good luck!

Large live baits such as shiners in the 10 to 12 inch range or bigger. And like the above answer suggested, BIG noisy lures. Thumbs.
